About Add Page Numbers
How it works
Choose which pages to number, where the numbers should appear, and how the numbering should begin and look.
Useful for
Give reports, case files, handouts or scanned documents a clear sequence before distributing or archiving them.
Keep in mind
The preview is an estimate. Page numbers become part of the new PDF and are not editable word-processing fields.
Frequently asked questions
Does Add Page Numbers upload my file?
No. This tool processes the files in your browser and does not upload them.
Can numbering start after the first PDF page?
Yes. Choose the first numbered page and starting value, then optionally add a prefix or suffix.
